Mirror twins on ice

Born May 31, 2010 in Grenzach-Wyhlen — a small town on the German-Swiss border — Emilia and Letizia Macula are mirror twins: Letizia is left-handed, Emilia right-handed. They laced up their first skates at age 7 in 2017 and haven't looked back since.

Competing individually at the Swiss Championships, they've built one of the largest figure skating audiences on social media, with appearances on ARD's Schau in meine Welt! and brand partnerships with Nike, Zalando, and more.
